Chemistry Student Presents Research at American Chemical Society
Emily Ingle ’24 (Nisbet Honors) presented her summer research as a poster entitled “Factors that influence the removal of Fe 2+ ions from aqueous solution using sodium alginate hydrogels” at the Southeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Durham, NC.
Dr. Jennifer Hawk, an Associate Professor of Chemistry, mentored Emily’s research. The Nisbet Honors Program at Converse University also supported this research.
Emily is an Honor board student representative at Converse and was recently accepted into the Doctoral Program at Indiana University.
