Marc Howard

Marc Howard graduated from Landrum High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps, where he was a Military Police K-9 handler. While just being in the Marine Corps for 4 years, Marc reached the rank of Corporal. Upon his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Marc joined the South Carolina Highway Patrol. He served in Cherokee County before becoming a K-9 handler and working his way to the state K-9 supervisor. Marc was an instructor for the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Marc has trained K-9s for other local law enforcement agencies as well as the U.S. Border Patrol. Marc won several awards while working with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team(ACE). In 2014, Marc retired from the Highway Patrol after serving for 22 years.

Marc is married to a Converse graduate. Kimberly and Marc have been married for 28 years and have two daughters – Jessica and Jodi.
